Assistant Print Designer

FUNCTION Support the initiation and execution of print concepts that are fashion driven and reflective of the creative vision.
This position requires advanced technical skills, speed, aligity and the ability to react in an extremely fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note:

Manage print and pattern administrative operations regarding seasonal artwork revisions.
Assist with preparation of seasonal print boards.
Organize and prepare print area for meetings and schedule daily and weekly team meetings.
Responsible for distributing concise email recaps after each meeting.
Organise and distribute Vector files and paper CADs to crossfunctional and license partners.
Assist in updating artwork and complete renderings, as directed.
Prepare artwork for production by color-separating and creating vector files if needed.
Prepare color chips and pitch sheets for artwork.
Create, maintain accuracy of, and upload each season's product CADs to the system, for use in linesheets and by crossfunctional teams throughout the development process.
Assist Colorist with updating color comments and images as needed.
Input Print Designs into Flex PLM.
Manage and record all original artwork; digitize all original, vintage and bought artworks in the VB online archive for easy reference.
Maintain strong knowledge of current print trends and historical print history through constant research and self-education.
Create and maintain seasonal print guide for communication with both internal and external partners.
Meet all deadlines on the product development calendar that pertain to artwork for print and pattern.
Act as physical liaison between print team and sample room (transporting fabrics / full-size layouts etc.
) EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School graduate required, bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile design or related field preferredExperience in designing, managing and manipulating print designs on textiles or related experience preferred.

Knowledge of fabrics required.
Knowledge of textile printing industry a strong plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
